haha.. i thought.. juz to be fair for those ppl who still BOTHERS to visit this blog... i shoulda at least post sth when im free...

so anyways, learning poetry lately... here is an ode tat i've done for strings!! but personally i think its rubbish... dont know how badly im goin to score for this assignment.. haha... however, if there are 'poetry-understandable' soles out there, u may even expain to me wat rubbish im writing.. haha..
but hey, look on the bright side, at least it rhymes.. haha.. =.= [n there is personification, alliteration and metophor too.. hehe]

Ode for String Ensemble

The tetra chords, Music, heavenly made
Friends of pleasure, wisdom’s aid
We play harmoniously as refined beyond the Muse’s painting
Exulting, trembling, raging, fainting

Our music is the heart that will heed of our true inner joys
Listen carefully and peacefully to hear its own melodious voice
The firmness that is lost in faintness
And touch of typical tentativeness

The violin dances in that godlike age
The viola had more of strength, diviner rage,
The cello sings out our native simple heart,
Devote to virtue, fancy and art, and that’s who we are.

NY SE & RI SE & VJC strings, -- Gold with honours (yeah!! we rock^^ and mr sze has perfect record now.. haha)

NY GZ---Gold with honours ( i guess every performing arts CCA in NY rocks... )
NY choir--- Gold with honours (kinda expected)

dont know about modern dance & drama. but today's last day of SyF... hope everyone enjoyed it... To all the sec 2s ::: 2 years later will be our turn to lead... jia youzzz all!! *yarn* <-- very anticlimax ^^
